ERS RFMV Conference Highlight – Telemonitoring of Home Mechanical Ventilation

This paper summarises the presentations on the use of telemonitoring for HMV that were presented during the ERS Respiratory Failure and Mechanical Ventilation conference in Berlin. The paper covers the feasibility of initiation of HMV, how to set CRF long-term follow-up using telemonitoring and the possibility to detect early acute deterioration and exacerbation of patients on HMV to guarantee timely access to treatment.
